  We used to go to that restaurant all the time and the service was always great but lately we've been ordering and picking up and the last 3 times it was terrible. First time, we paid for white meat and realized once at home that we got dark meat. Second time fries were very old and soggy and last time my bun was so hard that I broke the knife trying to cut through it and was never able to eat it. We order almost every week but afraid now of being disappointed a fourth time...

  Food is sulty but it was alright. Service was good. The washrooms are disgusting. The restaurant looked nice from inside. It is worth to try it, different people has different taste.

  Our food was cold, and dry and had next to no flavour. We even had to ask for butter and wait 10 minutes before we got it.

  Food and service was good. BUT it's freezing in there, like they didn't have heat. I could barely enjoy my food I was so cold. Couldn't take my jacket off or anything. I recommend coming in summer....lol

  We all ordered our drinks and I had to ask 3 times for them to bring me my drink. Once it came to ordering the waitress went around the table to take everyone's order and completely skipped me, proceeded to walk away and then got annoyed when I asked her if she was planning to take my order.

  The place was also very dirty, right now to the mirror hanging on the wall which had a huge thick crack in the glass. Not sure how they see that as safe? Let alone look presentable?

  Booked for a group of 10 people, arrived and they shoved us in a corner by the door which was cold and not private at all - to add to this they weren't one bit busy so I feel they could have sat us somewhere more comfortable.

  Most of us ordered the festive special and we were handed our bills but not our chocolate, we paid our bills and told to have a good night, we again had to go after her to get our chocolates.

  A co-worker arrived late and placed her order when she arrived. We got our food first except for a co-worker that ordered with us. The waitress didn't even acknowledge the fact that our co-worker was sitting there without a plate in front of her. We had to get the waitresses attention to ask where our co-workers food was. She had to wait 30 minutes to get her food! We had all finished eating including the co-worker who arrived late and ordered after us. There was no apologies, just excuses.

  I love Swiss Chalet, but this one is not good. I've seen other comments here that complain about the staff. In my case, the service was fine. But the place itself is really run down. Everything felt dirty. BUT GOOD NEWS. Our server told us they're doing a full reno in late 2017 or early 2018. So stay tuned!
